Bellissimo hotel, piscina e giardino e colazione super

Ottimo hotel, appartamento grande, pulito e attrezzato con due camere enormi, soggiorno e bagno e come plus bella vasca idromassaggio in terrazzo. Ottima accoglienza, servizio efficiente (abbiamo avuto un problema con il rubinetto difettoso e l'hanno risolto in un lampo) e colazione ricca e gustosa. Piscina bellissima con bar in un giardino ombreggiato, stupendo. Unico neo la stanza non aveva la cucina e il terrazzo (enorme) è in pieno sole. C'è l'ombrellone ma durante le ore più calde è difficile utilizzarlo. Comunque esperienza molto buona, lo consigliamo.

Soggiorno eccellente

Non ho dato 10 come voto solo perché il massimo è 5. Soggiornò eccellente da tutti i punti di vista. Lo staff è professionale, simpatico e molto disponibile . In particolare era il nostro anniversario e ci hanno fatto trovare una bottiglia di vino in frigo con un biglietto di auguri . Un grazie speciale lo Dobbiamo a Lorenzo che è stata la nostra guida in tutto il soggiorno indicandoci le migliori spiagge, i migliori ristoranti. Consigliatissimo❣️ottima la pulizia, il cibo ( da loro si mangia benissimo) ottima la colazione . Potete noleggiare li stesso un mezzo per girare l’isola. Spero di ritornarci presto .

Décevant

Comme un commentaire précédent nous avons logé dans la chambre 303, la climatisions coulait toute la nuit faisant un bruit suffisamment désagréable pour nous empêcher de dormir pendant trois jours. Les photos annoncées sur le site n’ont strictement rien à voir avec ce que nous avons vu sur place. La piscine est petite. Nous avons également réservé une chambre avec jacuzzi extérieurs, pensant pouvoir avoir un peu d’intimité, celle-ci donne directement sur le parking et visible de tous . Le petit déjeuner juste basique et sans grande saveurs. Le personnel de l’hôtel n’est absolument pas accueillant et totalement indifférent à nos requête. Seul point positif de notre séjour à l’Avaton, restera l’amabilité des serveurs et cuisiniers du restaurant

Ideal location with lots to do around

This is a perfect place to stay—not too far or near town but with a lovely pool and restaurant/bar area. Breakfast was great, and we had a variety of choices in the morning. Two supermarkets are a two-minute walk down the road, and the beachfront is a further five-minute walk, with a selection of places to hire a sun lounger, get drinks, and eat. It is only a 15-minute casual walk into the main town, where you can choose from a wide range of activities. The pool area was perfect and with a drink service to keep you refreshed, ideal for those really hot days which we had (33c every day). The staff were very helpful and friendly, we would stay there again.

A wonderful place to stay!

The Skiathos Avaton is a super hotel, we have returned home following a fantastic stay. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful without exception, our room was well equipped and extremely clean, the house keeping staff do a brilliant job generally popping in when we went for breakfast so it was all done by the time we returned. The breakfast choice was vast and all of great quality, familiar faces of staff greeted us with a smile each morning and sitting on the terrace was a lovely setting. We used the pool area several times, the pool is lovely and clean and the area always kept tidy. It was a busy time of year but not once did we struggle to get a sun bed, there are plenty round the pool but also in the grass area next to the pool. Magali Ammos beach is less than 10 min walk, the beach is beautiful and has a number of lovely taverns to choose from for food and drink. The sun beds were very reasonable to hire (18€ one day, front row for 2 beds and umbrella) this includes waiter service for food and drink. One of Avatons sister hotels is also on this beach, the restaurant is fantastic, the Thalassa has a wonderful menu including choosing your fresh fish from the counter. Skiathos town is a 15-20 minute walk, we didn’t use the bus for this but it is readily available should you want it. All in all, we would most definitely recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay without question. We did attend a day on a sail boat with ‘Sail the Day’ who we would 100% recommend too. Skiathos is a beautiful island not to be missed!
