Elendigt hotel

Ligger langt væk fra alting. Svært at komme til byen. Ejeren holdt fest ved swimmingpoolen med meget høj Music. Vi bad ham skrue ned for musikken, men han var ligeglad. Rejseselskabet Apollo reagerede ikke selv efter flere henvendelser til guiden. Receptionen sagde bare at det var ejeren der bestemte, så de kunne ikke gøre noget. Morgenmaden er elendig. Hotellet er meget slidt.

Excellent stay - we’ll be back!

Booked with an open mind as this hotel is apparently under new management. Bit of a shaky start as they weren’t expecting us despite us booking this as a package. (I suspect not the hotels fault). They couldn’t be more helpful and understanding - the receptionist so kind. The manager invited us to their amazing pool terrace for complimentary drinks while things were sorted and we were shown to our room after a little while. The room was clean, cool and spacious enough. Air con very efficient. Initially disappointed at the small balcony as other rooms all seemed to have double the size. However the view was spectacular and we soon got used to what was a very private space for an evening chill. What makes this hotel - apart from the amazing open views as you have evening drinks or buffet breakfast - was the staff. Every one of them, reception, young waiters, manager, pool cleaner, bar staff and cleaners were all so friendly and helpful. However our special mention goes to Anna who ensured breakfast time was something to look forward to. Coffee and food was fresh and a very large selection. My request for oat milk on day one resulted in being presented with my own personal bottle every morning as I arrived. Little touches but they make a difference. The hotel is built on a peninsular and is on several floors. You actually go in on floor 4 and there are lots of little staircases to get to rooms and to the pool/bar area. There was a couple of lifts but never saw them used. The hotel is situated in a great location less than 10 minutes walk either way to the beaches either side. Some very good tavernas/restaurants within walking distance although we found we had to book ahead. A final thing is the reception staff have a wealth of knowledge and are happy to help book car hire, taverna reservations, give info and recommendations freely. We tapped into their knowledge often! We wish all the staff well and hope to see you all again soon.

Paradise with a blink of an eye!! 💕💕

Family holiday with our grown daughter. What a lovely holiday we had in Skiathos. This hotel experience was one of the best we’ve ever had. Views beautiful, staff at the hotel absolutely lovely and so, so friendly. Especially Anna, Mario and Ardit. Miss you so much!! Thank you for making our holiday experience so wonderful. Hotel views amazing, pool area serene. Cocktails to die for!! Breakfast really delicious and wonderful selection. Beds comfortable. Thank you so much. And will see you all again very soon.

Great Stay, Great Location

This is a great hotel, in a fabulous location. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience. This is our second year staying here and we won't hesitate to book again. The rooms are clean, cool (plus they have air conditioning), and have everything you need. The beds are so, so comfortable. The bar / breakfast terrace has probably the best view from any hotel in Skiathos. The location is great, too - far enough to be away from the dust, noise and bustle of Skiathos town, with the sea one side and pine woods on the other side. Although it is quite large, it is big enough that even when full, the hotel has an air of calm and tranquility. (Caveat: we do go out of school holiday season!!) The water taxi to Skiatohs town is a five minute walk to the jetty on the beach. There are great places to eat within a short, pleasant walk or you can head to Skiathos (or anywhere else) for a wider choice of restaurants and cafes. Hire a jeep and get out exploring the island for those hidden gems! I highly recommend this hotel!

What a find!!.

Bumped into the hotel whilst looking for a lunch location. Delighted to find an empty pool side restaurant with amazing views across the bay. Given the quality/cost of the food and the charming service we could not understand why this lovely offering was so lightly used. We had lunch then stayed to use the pool and sun beds. Would strongly recommend this location for food and a relaxing day around the pool, that is clearly open no to non residents.
