Ho soggiornato presso questa struttura dal 18 al 25 Giugno, prenotazione effettuata attraverso Booking.com. Ho prenotato, pagato e ricevuto conferma per una camera vista mare. Al nostro arrivo in camera abbiamo notato che la camera non solo non era vista mare ma si affacciava su una struttura costruita su un ampio terrazzo di proprietà della struttura distante dalla ringhiera del nostro balconcino non più di 5m. Quindi dalla nostra camera potevamo godere di una fantastica vista 'muro' anzichè vista mare come avevamo richiesto e che ci era stata confermata. Lo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception e la ragazza di turno in quel momento ci ha detto che la prenotazione era stata fatta attraverso Booking.com e che quindi non era un loro problema. Se lo desideravo potevo rivolgere a loro un reclamo. Ho chiesto che la camera fosse cambiata con un'altra, anche se non vista mare ma almeno non vista muro, mi è stato risposto che in quel momento non era possibile e di provare a sentire di nuovo all'indomani dopo che la referente avrebbe potuto parlare con il manager. Il giorno dopo un'altra impiegata dell'hotel mi ha ripetuto che non era un loro problema e che quindi niente poteva fare, ho chiesto di nuovo che mi fosse cambiata la camera ma mi è stato risposto che l'hotel era fully booked. Ho provato allora a fare una prenotazione on line, l'hotel non era evidentemente completo viste le persone presenti, ed effettivamente aveva camera disponibili sia sul loro sito sia su Booking.com Sono rimasta per tutto il periodo nella camera vista muro, ho segnalato più volte il mio disappunto e la cosa in assoluto più sconcertante è che nessun dipendente dell'hotel tanto meno il manager/proprietario si sono degnati di scusarsi e mettere in atto una qualsiasi minima azione per riparare al disagio di un cliente. A parte questo increscioso incidente devo dire che la struttura presenta molte pecche: la prima sera non c'era acqua in camera e pertanto non era possibile utilizzare il bagno, la sera alle 19:00 spesso abbiamo dovuto fare la doccia fredda perchè l'acqua calda non arrivava, la sala colazioni molto piccola in relazione al numero di camere spesso era sovraffollata ed è stato necessario attendere per poterci accomodare per la colazione. Unica nota di merito per il manutentore che si è sempre fatto in 4 per risolvere i vari problemi tecnici che di volta in volta si sono presentati

A Greek tragedy

This hotel is advertised as four star on the island of Skiathos in Greece ……… this should mean three stars in the real world but it barely scrapes by at two. Room It was comfortable enough and the view was a treat. Breakfast Was utter chaos as one single staff member struggled to cope with the enormous bunfight of uncleared tables, slow food resupply and even slower crockery resupply. I can only imagine the mayhem when the hotel is full. The a la carte restaurant turned out to be five tables on the pool patio accompanied by a juniors pub grub menu. Pool This was contaminated with large quantities of algae, most of which had swarmed to the bottom in large patches whilst the rest inhabited the tile grout lines. A direct complaint to Reception saw an improvement but it was pitifully little and the pool remained woefully unfit for public use. Facilities Not all the bedroom air conditioning units operate correctly. The plumbing is very southern mediterranean and has not been updated, this translates to very small waste outlet pipes and the attendant problems. Reception Other than one sole and seemingly bored person manning the desk it was rare to see any other member of staff. Conclusion: The hotel is understaffed, under-maintained and under-invested. We were totally underwhelmed. This review has been drastically shortened.

Hotel with a fantastic sea view

First time stay in skiathos was not disappointed with our choice stopped in one of newly refurbished rooms with sea view Beds and pillows were all super comfy air conditioning small fridges and safe in room Staff are very welcoming and efficient pool nice and quiet no race for sun beds lots of shaded areas Breakfast was good with enough choice and never overcrowded and served till 11am Although not many restaurants in the resort it’s no problem just hop on a bus to go in skiathos town we’re there are so many restaurants or travel the other direction to Troullos all beaches on the bus route are beautiful some busier than others

Tired and disappointing

The staff that were there were great. There was no atmosphere that made you want to stay there. The advertised a la carte menu was little more than Burger King or McDonald’s. Breakfast was run completely by one smiling lady who did her best. Unfortunately she could not offer the service level that was needed. People sitting on steps waiting for a table. Then waiting for replenishments. Our air con didn’t work properly and I returned with chest and sinus infections. The pool was dirty and scummy around the waterline. Won’t be returning. It’s a shame. It looked great in the brochure. The resort was good and easy to get a water taxi into skiathos town.

Yet Another Wonderful Stay!

My Mum and I have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years and we have thoroughly enjoyed yet another stay. The hotel is in a great location with several beaches and tavernas within easy walking distance. There is a fantastic bar, where Marios serves the best drinks and cocktails, and there is a lovely clean pool, which is never overcrowded (bonus), and there is a great variety of food at breakfast to cater for everyone’s taste. The rooms we have stayed in have always been clean with a stunning sea view, and super comfortable beds and pillows. We have become very fond of the staff over the years - who are always so lovely, helpful, and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We absolutely love staying at this hotel and can’t wait to return next year. Thank you Panos and team for yet another wonderful week!
