Fantastic family holiday

I’ve been debating writing a review as I don’t want this little gem of a find to get booked up we have come back from a 2 week holiday at this hotel and from start to finish has been amazing , the location of the hotel is perfect , right on the beach with shops bars and restaurants a 5 min walk , the hotel is very relaxed and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for , there have been a lot of reviews regarding the food not being great which was a concern for me but it’s a small hotel of only 40 rooms so the amount of selection is never going to be huge , but it was all very tasty well cooked with traditional dishes and also some plainer dishes with fresh salad and fruit every lunch and dinner , I’m a really fussy eater with how food is cooked and I found it lovely as I say we were there 2 weeks so also ate out a few times in the eve in the lovely little town , the staff here are so friendly and helpful and the owner is just amazing , we landed later in the eve so had sandwiches in the fridge for us we were welcomed from our coach and nothing was too much trouble , the rooms are cleaned daily and the beds are very comfy , the rooms do have air con but this is at a cost of 10euros a day which didn’t show on jet2 website , we booked this last minute and I have to say it’s turned into one of my favourite places I have stayed we will be booking again .

Quiet, relaxing, lovely hotel

A lovely hotel to stay for a relaxing break. The pool is only a few seconds walk from your hotel room and there are plenty of sun beds to choose from. However, towards the end of our stay we noticed more and more people were leaving their towels on the sun beds of their choice overnight and I noticed on our last 2 days some new people had arrived and there were barely any left which I thought a bit unfair. We did not try the food as the hotel came as an all inclusive whether we wanted it or not and we always opt to eat out as part of our holiday experience but other people round the pool did not seem to have any complaints. The beer was rather short in measures at times and could do with a bit of a top up considering they are only served in small plastic glasses, it would probably help the bar staff if they served it in larger glasses to save customers going to the bar as frequently. But, not really a problem in the great scheme of things . The rooms are basic but very clean and the maids are very efficient and friendly. If you are looking for a relaxing break to de stress and have a fantastic view of the sea and the pool I would really recommend this hotel. Also when we were leaving the manager was so lovely and polite and shook our hands to thank us for staying which we thought was a lovely gesture. Even with my slight negative feedback I would definitely class our experience 5 star as the positives outweighed the negatives.

Perfect holiday for us

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and Doris welcomed us, she explained everything to us about the hotel and surrounding area, The hotel is situated right next to the beach and sea, you can walk a fair way out without going to deep, a bit pebbly at first, so we bought water shoes from the shop around the corner, The food was lovely we always found something to eat and tried some different things,all the staff are lovely and always smiling. Our room was kept clean with plenty of clean towels and sheets, We walked into Alykes every evening which only takes 10 mins, There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants to try, We have already booked for the same time next year as we enjoyed our stay so much.

Relaxing holiday

On arrival we received a very warm welcome. It is a family run business and the care and friendliness shone throughout. Excellent location, straight on the beach with amazing views. The hotel was very clean. The food was always fresh, with a good selection. I’m gluten intolerant and always found plenty to eat. A short walk to bars, restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop outside where you can catch the bus into Zakynthos town. Overall a very relaxing holiday. Would definitely recommend

Such a welcoming experience

Such a welcoming experience at this hotel. We were greeted by name off the transfer bus by Doris & Konstantin. Our room was clean and spacious for a family of 3. Key safe and fridge were good additions. We opted for air con at an additional charge but there was no pressure for how long we had it (going from 15 degrees UK to 33 Zante we kept it!) WIFI was good. All the staff were happy, friendly and had a great sense of humour. Food had all the basics to cater for us all, rice, pasta and potatoes with plenty of meat choices and always fresh salad. Staff always on hand to make sure nothing ran out. The pool was clean and quiet and the sea a step down from the hotel. We booked last minute for a week of doing nothing and that was exactly what we got! Good location for local amenities too. A well run hotel that I would definitely recommend.
